Doha: Mangalore Cultural Association (MCA) flocked another feather in its cap by successfully steering a full day Vocal Voice Workshop for all Mangalorean Konkani singers in Doha Qatar. The well-known singer /composer/ musician from Mangalore Alwyn Noronha Bajpe conducted this workshop.

The workshop began with MCA’s theme song. The emcee Ms. Hema Fernandes invited, President Ms. Veena Rebimbus Pais to present Mr. Alwyn with a bouquet of flowers as a token of our gratitude. She then welcomed all the attendees and handed over the dais to Mr. Alwyn Noronha.

Mr. Alwyn Noronha is a very good vocal trainer and has trained many Konkani singers who are quite popular today. He is one of the judges of the Popular Konkani Reality Show "Mozo Thalo Gaithalo" on daijiworld24x7. Mr. Alwyn shared his vast knowledge in the music field with the interested participants of the workshop.

Keeping in mind the singer’s suggestions from the past workshops to have more and more of Vocal courses MCA had planned this event for all who use the wonderful God given talent of singing.

Mr. Alwyn’s guidance and fashion of conducting the training was well appreciated by all the participants. Indeed, the workshop was much above the expectations of the participants. Alwyn Noronha interacted with the participants and shared a very many tips and suggestions for good singing. He taught a lot of exercises that help in ameliorating the singing quality and performance. He shared his experiences as a singer, musician and trainer with the participants. Towards the end of the training the participants were given a chance to sing and get assessed by the trainer himself.

The workshop was advantageous to all and the participants request more of such kind.
